“I once chased the perfect wave. Now, I chase the hope for a cure.”
Robert had to stop his passion of surfing, traveling, and working towards a promising business career because of ME/CFS. He says, “When I wasn’t surfing, I was working towards a business career and had three great job offers.” He even played classical piano. Robert believes that with our support, there is hope for a cure.
He believes in OMF, just like we do. Robert knows that OMF’s passionate and expert team of scientists are working urgently to find answers. He says, “Right now is an exciting time. We have some of the best minds working on this problem and they are making steady progress to find answers.”
Robert’s hope shines bright. He shares, “If you look back on history, you will find many instances where things were considered ‘impossible’ until a group of great minds figured it out. I think the problem of ME/CFS and chronic complex disease is no different.”
