OVER $14 MILLION RAISED FOR RESEARCH SINCE 2012
Our mission at Open Medicine Foundation (OMF) is to fund and initiate collaborative and groundbreaking research into chronic complex diseases so that patients will be able to live life more fully.
Led by our esteemed ME/CFS Scientific Advisory Board, we’re now focused on the End ME/CFS Project, designed to find biomarkers and effective treatments for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). These findings should also provide insights into related diseases, such as fibromyalgia and chronic Lyme disease. Learn about our current study.
ME/CFS is a global crisis. We communicate with patients in over 100 countries. We proudly share translations of our news and newsletters to inform our global OMF family and share our message of hope internationally.
Linda Tannenbaum, CEO/President, named 2017 ME/CFS Advocate of the Year by ProHealth.
“Linda has displayed a constant, magnificent dedication and commitment to patients, and her results have been nothing less than astonishing,” said ProHealth founder, Rich Carson. “In just the last year, she has virtually single-handedly raised almost three times as much money for ME/CFS research than the entire United States government has historically allocated to the disease. It's absolutely amazing what one person can do.” Read the full article here.
