We are looking for talented computational biologists/bioinformaticians to join the team at the Computational Research Center for Complex Diseases to discover the molecular mechanism and treatments for ME/CFS and related complex human diseases. Potential projects include:
- Working closely with researchers and clinicians at OMF supported Collaborative Research Centers to perform integrative analysis of multiple omics datasets (e.g., genome sequencing, transcriptomics, proteomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics) and associated clinical data of the patients.
- Comparing and contrasting the molecular pattern of ME/CFS with that of other diseases in the context of biomedical knowledge in order to uncover disease mechanism and to identify potential treatments of ME/CFS.
- Establishing and maintaining ME/CFS Data Center platform for data sharing and online collaboration.
Candidates are expected to have a graduate degree in computational biology, biostatistics, machine learning, or a related field, and is interested in working in an interdisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians. Or the candidate has a Ph.D. in biomedicine with computational skills and extensive working experience in analyzing large-scale omics and disease data.
